Reconnect With The Earth

All About Tee’s Pots

Tee’s Pots started with a passion to leave something of value and aroha (love) before my time on this earth is done for my moko and future generations. My mission is to teach and grow healthy, toxin-free food just as our grandparents did, while also healing the planet.

As a lifelong lover of gardening and advocate for sustainability and rongoā (healing), I wanted to create something simple yet impactful to help people young and old to easily grow food and reconnect with Papatūānuku (Mother Earth).

Kai Pots are designed for those who don’t have the space, time, or ability to maintain a traditional garden. Even in a small space like a deck or porch, you can grow your own fresh vegetables and herbs with ease with no weeding, less maintenance and a simple way to help ease the cost of expensive vegetables from the supermarkets. Even in a Kai Pot we can support healthy, living soil that nurtures natural systems that help our plants to thrive.

That’s how the idea for Kai Pots – fabric grow bags filled with fresh veggies and herbs, was born.

What began as a small project has grown into a mission of passion. I share the power of Biochar, wood vinegar, hemp and natural nutrients, teaching how to work with soil life to grow thriving, toxin-free gardens. Through attending Farmers Markets, hosting hands-on workshops, informative presentations, and community donations, I’m helping people learn, grow, and heal together.

About Tee’s Pots

As I continue to learn, I dream of one day creating a self-sustainable lifestyle block that will not only allow me to raise animals and grow food but also provide the perfect space to experiment with Biochar, wood vinegar, and other sustainable practices and host workshops sharing what I know, grow and learn. I’m excited about the opportunity to produce high-quality Biochar myself and teach others how to make it and charge it with natural nutrients, furthering my mission to heal the planet and grow healthy kai.

Sustainable Hemp

More recently, I’ve been exploring the healing and sustainable attributes of hemp and have slowly added hemp products to the mix. I believe that carbon and hemp together will one day be key to recovering our planet from pollution and building a more sustainable future.

I have plans in the pipeline to eventually work with local councils on initiatives aimed at creating employment, promoting sustainability, supporting CO2 sequestration, and providing income for local farmers. My vision includes integrating Biochar and hemp production to not only increase crop yields and heal our soils but also generate power and industrial hemp for healthy homes with Hempcrete, hemp char, fabrics, paper, and food – driving further positive impact.

Tee’s Pots is just the beginning of a journey toward a greener, healthier future for everyone. Join me as we work together to care for our soil, grow good kai, and nurture a better planet – one Kai Pot at a time.
